So the name goes perfectly with me. I love carrot cake and the homemade cream cheese frosting. My husband and I just celebrated our 8th anniversary yesterday and that is what he wanted a carrot cake. I made him one. Why wouldn't I, very cheap gift if you ask me. Of course though I ate a piece of this delicious cake last night as we were sitting there watching our favorite tv show Sons of Anarchy childless for the night. I told him I better savor every bite since I have begun Weight Watchers again and one piece is like 17 points. So that would be my one and only piece.
As I ate this one piece of carrot cake and yes I enjoyed it so much. I realized that this is my problem with eating I get a bigger piece than I should.
You see I have been going to our new fitness center since it opened, yes I am getting stronger but the scale still says the same. I have been so frustrated. My Jeans I have been in since I had baby #2 August of 2011 are the same ones I am still in. They are loose but the next size down is too tight! I need to really focus on what I am putting in my mouth and that it is sticking to my thighs, buttocks and stomach.
I have found an awesome blog called http://www.mamalaughlin.com today and it inspired me. She is about my age and after child 2 was at weight she did not like. She has lost over 60 lbs and looks fabulous. So today when I went to the gym at noon I started the couch to 5k on the treadmill. I did 1.92 miles in 30 minutes. I am going to work myself up to running all the time just got to make time for myself to do it.
I am determined and ready to get this weight off! I will post pics later for this process!
